Oral Inspection Information

Most requests that we get are to screen for acute problems, which are issues that are causing pain and infection. We routinely check for:

• Visual dental decay;
• Oral cancer/suspicious lesions;
• Gingivitis;
• Periodontitis;
• Dental infection; and
• Ill-fitting dentures/partials.

We clean all dentures with an ultrasonic cleaner.

Note: All procedures and findings will be reported to a dentist of record, or we can make referrals to an appropriate dental professional. We report all of our findings to the power of attorney (POA) and facility to make the final decisions.
